No wonder, it has made an appearance in mehendi art too. True, the pandemic has sent the <a href=\"https:\/\/timesofindia.indiatimes.com\/topic\/wedding-schedule\" styleobj=\"[object Object]\" class=\"\" data-ga=\"within_article-topic_link|topic_wedding-schedule\" frmappuse=\"1\">wedding schedule<\/a> for a toss, but among those who are tying the knot with limited guests, some are opting for COVID-themed mehndi art. <br \/>North Kolkata-based Susmita tied the knot with her college sweetheart in July without any <a href=\"http:\/\/www.speakingtree.in\/topics\/life\/social\" styleobj=\"[object Object]\" class=\"\" data-ga=\"within_article-topic_link|topic_http:\/\/www.speakingtree.in\/topics\/life\/social\" rel=\"noopener nofollow noreferrer\" frmappuse=\"1\">social<\/a> or religious ceremony. She was planning to get married in December this year, but it had to be preponed after her father was diagnosed with a terminal illness. \u201cLike every girl, I had dreams about my marriage, but the pandemic changed all that. Now I like to believe that I got married at a time which will become a part of human history. And I wanted to document that,\u201d she said. <br \/>That\u2019s why she contacted mehendi artist Suchanda Banerjee and asked her to create something that will remind her of the pandemic. \u201cI made a couple of sketches and one of them was finalised. In the past, I encountered unusual demands like Game of Thrones-themed or CPM-themed mehendi art. But this is the first time I have created something relating to a disease,\u201d Suchanda told us. <br \/>The artwork shows a bride and groom, both wearing masks, holding each other.
