Congress leader Rahul Gandhi claimed on Friday that the Reserve Bank of India<\/a> (RBI) has revealed the \u201cmood of the nation\u201d saying people\u2019s confidence is at an \u201call-time low\u201d and insecurity high.<\/p>\n

He also said one can expect more bad news on jobs and the country\u2019s economy.<\/p>\n

Indian economy to contract by 4% in 2020-21, forecasts ADB<\/a><\/p>\n

\u201cRBI reveals the real \u2018Mood of the Nation\u2019: People\u2019s confidence at all time low. Fear and insecurity are at all time high. Expect more bad news on the economy and jobs front,\u201d the former Congress chief wrote on Twitter.<\/p>\n

He also tagged a graph showing a dip in people\u2019s confidence levels.<\/p>\n

Rebuild India’s confidence, revive the economy<\/a><\/p>\n

The RBI kept the interest rates unchanged on Thursday to help tame the inflation that in recent times has surged past the six per cent-mark and said the economy is in an extremely weak condition following the coronavirus<\/a> (COVID-19<\/a>) pandemic. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n
