For FDs with a tenure of 7-14 days, 15-30 days and 31-45 days, the lender will offer an interest rate of 3.50%, 3.75% and 4.25%, respectively. An interest rate of 5.50% will be charged for a period 46-60 days, 61-90 days, 91-120 days and 121-180 days. For deposits maturing at 181-210 days, 211-269 days and 270 days to below one year, interest rates of 5.75%, 5.75% and 6% are imposed. For deposits with tenure of one year to 389 days, 390 days to 2 years and 2 to 3 years, the bank will offer an interest rate of 6.50%, 6.50% and 7% whereas 6.50% will be charged for 3-5 years and 5-10 years.<\/p>\n<p>The revised FD rates of the lender for domestic and <a href=\"https:\/\/bfsi.economictimes.indiatimes.com\/tag\/nro+term+deposits\">NRO term deposits<\/a> with 2 to 5 crore and above 5 crore ranges from 3.50%-6.50%. An additional 0.05% benefit is also offered for deposits of senior citizens who are the residents of India.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/bfsi.economictimes.indiatimes.com\/tag\/canara+bank\">Canara Bank<\/a> has also revised its interest rates on fixed deposits which are less than Rs 2 crore. Currently, an interest rate of 3% will be charged for term deposits with a maturity period of 7-45 days. The bank will charge 4% for a maturity period of 46-90 days, 4.05% for 91-179 days and 4.05% for 180 days to less than a year period. For fixed deposits that will get matured within a year, the bank will impose 5.4% and for deposits with above one year to three years maturity, the lender will charge 5.35%. And for FDs maturing at three to ten years, an interest rate of 5.30% will be offered.<\/p>\n<p>For senior citizens, an additional 50 basis points more than for the general customers will be offered maturing in 180 days to 10 years.
