DBS Bank India<\/a> has appointed Prashant Joshi<\/a> as Managing Director and Head of National Distribution. In his former stint he was associated as Chief Operating Officer at IndoStar Capital Finance<\/a> and has close to three decades of experience in the banking<\/a> sector.<\/p>\n

He will report to Surojit Shome, MD & CEO, DBS Bank<\/a> India.<\/p>\n

Prashant was responsible for setting up the SME and affordable housing finance business at IndoStar Capital Finance. He also managed the Operations & Technology platforms for all businesses.<\/p>\n

Prashant has been associated with Deutsche Bank for eight years, Standard Chartered Bank & IDBI Bank. Prashant started his career with ICICI Limited and Rabo India Finance (a Rabobank subsidiary).<\/p>\n

Prashant holds a bachelor\u2019s degree in commerce from University of Bombay and is a qualified Cost Accountant. He also holds a PG Diploma in Management from IIM Calcutta.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
