{"id":15938,"date":"2020-08-18T19:16:06","date_gmt":"2020-08-18T19:16:06","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/bengalnewstimes.com\/?p=15938"},"modified":"2020-08-18T19:16:06","modified_gmt":"2020-08-18T19:16:06","slug":"reserve-bank-of-india-press-releases-130","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/bengalnewstimes.com\/?p=15938","title":{"rendered":"Reserve Bank of India &#8211; Press Releases"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><\/p>\n<div id=\"\">\n<td>\n<table width=\"100%\" border=\"0\" align=\"center\" class=\"td\">\n<tr>\n<td>\n<p>As announced in the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rbi.org.in\/Scripts\/BS_PressReleaseDisplay.aspx?prid=49343\" target=\"_blank\" class=\"links\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Statement on Developmental and Regulatory policies<\/a> issued as part of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rbi.org.in\/Scripts\/BS_PressReleaseDisplay.aspx?prid=49342\" target=\"_blank\" class=\"links\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Monetary Policy statement dated February 6, 2020<\/a>, the Reserve Bank hereby places a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rbi.org.in\/scripts\/bs_viewcontent.aspx?Id=3892\" target=\"_blank\" class=\"links\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">draft framework<\/a> for grant of recognition to an industry association as a Self-Regulatory Organisation (SRO) for Payment System Operators (PSOs). <\/p>\n<p>The SRO shall cover operators in all segments of payment systems and will be expected to observe best practices on security, customer protection and competitiveness.
