As part of the investigation of Sushant Singh Rajput’s death, the Mumbai Police has asked the production house Yash Raj Films to submit the copies of the contract signed by the late actor. The same was submitted by the production house on Saturday.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n On June 18, Mumbai Police had demanded Yash Raj Films\u2019 contract copies to be submitted. Sushant had reportedly signed a three-movie deal with YRF including <\/span>Shudh Desi Romance<\/span><\/i> (2013), <\/span>Detective Byomkesh Bakshy! <\/span><\/i>(2015) and <\/span>Paani<\/span><\/i>. The Shekhar Kapur directorial <\/span>Paani <\/span><\/i>was later shelved after it was announced at Cannes Film Festival.<\/span><\/p>\n On June 14, the <\/span>Kai Po Che <\/span><\/i>actor died by suicide, in his apartment in Bandra, Mumbai. The actor left no note behind and was reportedly suffering from depression from the past six months. The post mortem reports stated the cause of death as asphyxia by hanging. The Mumbai Police is thoroughly investigating and have recorded the statements of 15 people so far including his family and friends.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n Sushant Singh Rajput’s close friend Rhea Chakraborty in her statement to the police said that\u00a0 Sushant had ended his contract with Yash Raj Films (YRF) and had even asked her to do the same.<\/span><\/p>\n![\"Yash](\"https:\/\/media2.bollywoodhungama.in\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/06\/sush.jpg\")
