BSE Sensex is trading at 39,271.65 up 158.18 points or 0.40% and the Nifty50 is trading at 11,612.15 up 52.90 points or 0.46%.<\/p>\n<p>The Nifty Bank is trading up 1.61% at 23,980.25 while Mid-cap index is up by 1.31%.<\/p>\n<p>Axis Bank, ZEEL, IndusInd Bank, UPL and Bharti Infratel are the top gainers. Tata Motors, HDFC Bank, JSW Steel, Kotak Bank and Asian Paints are the top losers.<\/p>\n<p>The India VIX continued to cool down, slipping below 19 levels during the initial minutes of trade.<\/p>\n<p>All sectoral indices were trading with gains, except the auto index.<\/p>\n<p>Banking and finance stocks continued to be favoured on D-Street rising again on Friday, although Kotak Mahindra Bank and HDFC Bank were down trading with losses.<\/p>\n<p>Axis Bank was up 4% to be the top Sensex gainer, followed by IndusInd Bank and ICICI Bank. HDFC Bank and HCL Technologies were the worst performing Sensex constituents, down over 0.50% each.<\/p>\n<p>On the BSE Midcap index, Canara Bank and Federal Bank were the top gainers, up close to 7% each. Datamatics Global Services and Responsive Industries were the top BSE Smallcap gainers<\/p>\n<p>Varroc Engineering and Bajaj Holdings were the top losers on the Midcap index. ABB Power India was down over 8% making it the top BSE Smallcap drag, followed by Usha Martin.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p><!--start sk\n                                                    \n\n<div>\n
