Gold prices in the national capital declined \u20b9 614 to \u20b9 52,314 per 10 gram on Wednesday tracking weakness in the international market, according to HDFC Securities.<\/p>\n

In the previous trade, gold had closed at \u20b9 52,928 per 10 gram.<\/p>\n

Silver also tanked \u20b9 1,799 to \u20b9 71,202 per kg from its previous close of \u20b9 73,001 per kg.<\/p>\n

\u201cSpot gold prices for 24 karat in Delhi were down \u20b9 614 with a decline in international prices,\u201d HDFC Securities Senior Analyst (Commodities) Tapan Patel said.<\/p>\n

In the international market, gold was quoting down at USD 1,963 per ounce and silver at USD 27.87 an ounce.<\/p>\n

\u201cGold prices pared previous gains as investors switched to riskier assets after the US and China showed recovery in manufacturing activities,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n

Reliance Securities Senior Research Analyst Sriram Iyer said, \u201cDomestic prices witnessed a correction in Wednesday afternoon trade tracking the overseas prices.\u201d <\/p>\n<\/div>\n
