{"id":19155,"date":"2020-09-02T12:36:54","date_gmt":"2020-09-02T12:36:54","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/bengalnewstimes.com\/?p=19155"},"modified":"2020-09-02T12:36:54","modified_gmt":"2020-09-02T12:36:54","slug":"sensex-rises-185-points-to-close-at-39086-nifty-eyes-11550","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/bengalnewstimes.com\/?p=19155","title":{"rendered":"Sensex rises 185 points to close at 39,086, Nifty eyes 11,550"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><\/p>\n<div>\n<section class=\"_2suu5 _24fIT clearfix  undefined undefined \">\n<div class=\"_3v5m2 image_wrapper \">\n<div class=\"_2gIK-\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/static.toiimg.com\/thumb\/msid-77888847,imgsize-100596,width-400,resizemode-4\/77888847.jpg\" alt=\"\" title=\"(Representative image)\"\/><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/section>\n<p><span class=\"_3sXlO _1Ee83 img_cptn\">(Representative image)<\/span><\/p>\n<p>NEW DELHI: Markets finished higher for the second consecutive session on Wednesday with the benchmark <!-- -->BSE sensex<!-- --> rising nearly 200 points led by gains in metals, and IT stocks. <br \/>After a highly volatile session, the 30-share BSE index rose 185 points or 0.48 per cent higher to close at 39,086; while the broader NSE Nifty settled 65 points or 0.56 per cent higher at 11,535. <br \/>M&amp;M, Power Grid, Tata Steel, IndusInd Bank, Reliance and HCL tech were the top gainers in the sensex pack rising up to 6.10 per cent. <br \/>While Bajaj Auto, Asian Paints, Sun Pharma, HDFC, Nestle India and HUL were the major losers falling as much as 2.15 per cent. <br \/>On the NSE, sub-indices Nifty Media, Metal, IT and Auto gained as much as 3.26 per cent. <br \/>According to traders, weak cues from other Asian markets kept investors cautious. <br \/>&#8220;Banks are still under a little bit of pressure because of (the telecom dues ruling) yesterday,&#8221; Samrat Dasgupta, chief executive at Esquire Capital Investment Advisors told news agency Reuters.
