{"id":1994,"date":"2020-06-23T15:16:26","date_gmt":"2020-06-23T15:16:26","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/bengalnewstimes.com\/?p=1994"},"modified":"2020-06-23T15:16:26","modified_gmt":"2020-06-23T15:16:26","slug":"bank-of-baroda-posts-q4-net-profit-of-rs-506-crore","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/bengalnewstimes.com\/?p=1994","title":{"rendered":"Bank of Baroda posts Q4 net profit of Rs 506 crore"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><\/p>\n<div>\n<div class=\"article-image\">\n<figure><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"lazy lazy-hidden size-full wp-image-1944927\" data-lazy-type=\"image\" src=\"https:\/\/images.financialexpress.com\/2020\/04\/1-1098.jpg\" alt=\"BoB, Bank of Baroda profit\" width=\"660\" height=\"440\" srcset=\"\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 660px) 100vw, 660px\"\/><noscript><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"lazy lazy-hidden size-full wp-image-1944927\" data-lazy-type=\"image\" src=\"https:\/\/images.financialexpress.com\/2020\/04\/1-1098.jpg\" alt=\"BoB, Bank of Baroda profit\" width=\"660\" height=\"440\" srcset=\"\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 660px) 100vw, 660px\"\/><noscript><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-1944927\" src=\"https:\/\/images.financialexpress.com\/2020\/04\/1-1098.jpg\" alt=\"BoB, Bank of Baroda profit\" width=\"660\" height=\"440\" srcset=\"https:\/\/images.financialexpress.com\/2020\/04\/1-1098.jpg 660w, https:\/\/images.financialexpress.com\/2020\/04\/1-1098-300x200.jpg 300w, https:\/\/images.financialexpress.com\/2020\/04\/1-1098-620x413.jpg 620w, https:\/\/images.financialexpress.com\/2020\/04\/1-1098-401x267.jpg 401w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 660px) 100vw, 660px\"\/><\/noscript><\/noscript><span class=\"article-caption\">BoB\u2019s income for the March quarter of 2019-20 was at Rs 21,533.10 crore.<\/span><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n<p><a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.financialexpress.com\/market\/stock-market\/bank-of-baroda-stock-price\/\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Bank of Baroda<\/a> on Tuesday reported a standalone net profit of Rs 506.59 crore for the March 2020 quarter.<\/p>\n<p>The bank had posted a net profit of Rs 991.37 crore in the January-March quarter of the preceding fiscal ended March 2019.<\/p>\n<p>The figures for the quarter are not comparable year-on-year due to amalgamation of Vijaya Bank and Dena Bank into it with effect from April 2019.<\/p>\n<p>The Government of India through a gazette notification dated January 2, 2019 approved the scheme of amalgamation between Bank of Baroda, Dena Bank and Vijaya Bank and amalgamation is effective April 1, 2019.<\/p>\n<p>The results for the quarter\/ year ending March 31, 2020 and quarter ended December 31, 2019 includes operations of erstwhile Vijaya Bank and erstwhile Dena Bank, Bank of Baroda said in a regulatory filing.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHence the results for quarter and year ended March 31, 2020 are not comparable with corresponding period of previous year and for the year ended March 31, 2019,\u201d it said.<\/p>\n<p>The income for the March quarter of 2019-20 was at Rs 21,533.10 crore.
