Australia played a critical role in the development of the World Health Assembly resolution. <\/p>\n<p>While striving to eliminate cervical cancer within its borders by 2035, the country is also supporting the global community in achieving the strategy\u2019s 90-70-90 targets. The Honorable Greg Hunt, Minister for Health, has stated: \u201cWe now stand ready to work with the international community to take these commitments forward.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.health.gov.au\/ministers\/the-hon-greg-hunt-mp\/media\/australia-leads-the-way-on-global-health-action\" target=\"_blank\" data-sf-ec-immutable=\"\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Read the full media release<\/a><\/p>\n<p>We applaud Australia for embracing this ambitious challenge and thank the government for its commitment to the elimination agenda.
