Compared with nonsmokers, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.medicinenet.com\/smoking_and_quitting_smoking\/article.htm\" rel=\"dt\" onclick=\"wmdTrack('embd-lnk');\">smokers<\/a> had higher frequencies of the presence of moderate-to-<a href=\"https:\/\/www.medicinenet.com\/psoriasis_pictures_slideshow\/article.htm\" onclick=\"wmdTrack('embd-lnk');\" rel=\"slide\">severe psoriasis<\/a>, nail involvement, administration of systemic treatment, and additional <a href=\"https:\/\/www.medicinenet.com\/heart_disease_pictures_slideshow_visual_guide\/article.htm\" onclick=\"wmdTrack('embd-lnk');\" rel=\"slide\">cardiovascular disease<\/a>.
