No deaths have been reported.<\/p>\n<p>All 12 of those who became ill had the same strain of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.medicinenet.com\/e_coli__0157h7\/article.htm\" rel=\"dt\" onclick=\"wmdTrack('embd-lnk');\">E. coli<\/a> that prompted the California-based company to recall its romaine lettuce, <em>CBS News<\/em> reported.<\/p>\n<p>Last Friday, Tanimura &amp; Antle recalled nearly 3,400 cases of single heads of romaine shipped to 19 states and Puerto Rico, according to the U.S. Food and Drug Administration.<\/p>\n<p>Walmart issued a list of 1,117 stores in 23 states where the recalled romaine may have been sold, <em>CBS News<\/em> reported.<\/p>\n<p class=\"credits\"><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"MedicalNews\" border=\"0\" src=\"https:\/\/images.medicinenet.com\/images\/HealthDay\/healthday.png\" style=\"border: none;\"\/><br \/>Copyright \u00a9 2020 HealthDay.
