A report by human rights group Amnesty International has said the Taliban recently \u201cmassacred” and brutally tortured several members of the Hazara minority<\/a> in Afghanistan.<\/p>\n

Following the militant group\u2019s takeover of the Afghan capital, Kabul, on Sunday, the Taliban have said that there would be “no revenge”<\/a>.<\/p>\n

But Amnesty International\u2019s Brian Castner told BBC World News<\/a> that there was a real disconnect between \u201cwhat a spokesman or leader might say and what an 18 year old with a Kalashnikov is going to do\u201d. <\/p>\n

The Hazara community is Afghanistan’s third largest ethnic group.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
