The lender said the collaboration would span through 4500+ branches of Axis Bank and 3000+ Maruti Suzuki outlets and would address the mobility needs of customers amidst the COVID-19 pandemic.<\/p>\n<p>As part of the collaboration, Axis Bank will provide a 100% on-road funding scheme for select Maruti Suzuki customers, with a tenor of upto 8 years. The bank has further launched schemes including a Step-Up EMI option with a tenor of upto 7 years, wherein the EMI would entail a 10% yearly increase and a <a href=\"https:\/\/bfsi.economictimes.indiatimes.com\/tag\/balloon+emi\">Balloon EMI<\/a> scheme with a tenor of upto 5 years wherein the final EMI would comprise of 25% of the loan amount. The Bank has also outlined a low EMI scheme, which for the first three months would have a monthly obligation starting of Rs 899, per Lakh rupees.<\/p>\n<p>Pralay Mondal, Executive Director, Head \u2013 Retail <a href=\"https:\/\/bfsi.economictimes.indiatimes.com\/news\/banking\">Banking<\/a>, AxisBank on the tie-up said \u201cThe COVID-19 Pandemic has created a need for more creative and flexible financing options for Maruti Suzuki car buyers and our best -in-class financing solutions will provide the much-needed hassle-free experience of car buying and financing.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Maruti Suzuki\u2019s Executive Director (Marketing &amp; Sales) Shashank Srivastava further added \u201cOne of the impact of Coronavirus pandemic has been change in people&#8217;s behavior when it comes to mobility. Concern over safety and maintaining social-distancing has uptick the preference for having a personal vehicle.
