If not treated, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.medicinenet.com\/plague_facts\/article.htm\" rel=\"dt\" onclick=\"wmdTrack('embd-lnk');\">plague<\/a> can be fatal in up to 90% of cases.<\/p>\n<p>While largely eradicated in China, there are still occasional cases in the country.
