<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/section>\nA still from ‘Mohor’, the shooting schedule for which is also being tweaked.<\/span><\/p>\n KOLKATA: From Wednesday, actor Pallavi Sharma, who has been playing the popular role of Jaba Sengupta in Susanta Das\u2019s \u2018Ke Apon Ke Por\u2019 (KAKP) for four years now, will have to report on the sets at six in the morning. This is at least two hours before her regular call-time since shooting of Bengali serials resumed in June. This revised call-time has been issued after the state announced mandatory two days of complete lockdown in a week.
On Monday, Das, producer-writer of KAKP, along with \u2018Krishnakoli\u2019, \u2018Alo Chhaya\u2019, \u2018Titli\u2019 and \u2018Sarbamangala\u2019, had a meeting with the unit of all his serials. \u201cEarlier, we would have given a call-time at 7 am. So, shooting would begin at around 8 am. But now, I have told all actors and technicians that they need to report at the studio by 6 am. Shooting will continue till 8 pm,\u201d Das said.
On an average, 20-22 minutes of footage is required per episode. Under new circumstances, Das wants each day\u2019s shooting to generate at least 30 minutes of footage. Effectively, that would mean 150 minutes of footage with five days of shooting.
But, not everyone is going for an earlier call-time. Arabinda Dasgupta, vice president television wing of SVF Entertainment that produces \u2018Joy Baba Loknath\u2019, \u2018Prothoma Kadambini\u2019 and \u2018Chunni Panna\u2019, said shooting with double units began for two of his serials on Tuesday. \u201cWe are working with a double unit that is shooting parallel tracks for \u2018Prothoma Kadambini\u2019 and \u2018Chunni Panna\u2019. Second unit directors are helming the shooting of double units. On each day, we expect to generate 35 to 40 minutes of footage,\u201d Dasgupta said.
Sunday offs will now be a thing of the past, said producer Sani Ghosh Ray from Acropolis Entertainment that produces \u2018Phirki\u2019, \u2018Irabotir Chupkatha\u2019, \u2018Sanjher Bati\u2019 and \u2018Dhrubo Tara\u2019.
Writer- creative director Leena Gangopadhyay, who is part of Magic Moments that produces \u2018Sreemoyee\u2019, \u2018Mohor\u2019, \u2018Nakshikantha\u2019 and \u2018Kora Pakhi\u2019, said shooting schedules of her production are being tweaked around.
Meanwhile, meticulous planning has helped the unit to shoot smoothly even after Surajit Bandopadhyay, who has played an important character in \u2018Kora Pakhi\u2019, tested positive on Monday. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n
