No deaths have been reported.<\/p>\n<p>Officials are interviewing patients about the foods they ate in the week before they got sick and other possible exposures, but no specific source of the outbreak has been identified, the CDC said.<\/p>\n<p>Most people infected with <a href=\"https:\/\/www.medicinenet.com\/salmonella_food_poisoning_salmonellosis\/article.htm\" onclick=\"wmdTrack('embd-lnk');\" rel=\"dt\">salmonella<\/a> develop <a href=\"https:\/\/www.medicinenet.com\/diarrhea\/article.htm\" onclick=\"wmdTrack('embd-lnk');\" rel=\"dt\">diarrhea<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.medicinenet.com\/aches_pain_fever\/article.htm\" onclick=\"wmdTrack('embd-lnk');\" rel=\"dt\">fever<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.medicinenet.com\/stomach_cramps\/symptoms.htm\" onclick=\"wmdTrack('embd-lnk');\" rel=\"sym\">stomach cramps<\/a> 6 hours to 6 days after exposure to the bacteria. The illness usually lasts 4 to 7 days, and most people recover without treatment, according to the CDC.<\/p>\n<p>Children younger than 5, adults 65 and older, and people with weakened immune systems are more likely to have severe illness.<\/p>\n<p class=\"credits\"><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"MedicalNews\" border=\"0\" src=\"https:\/\/images.medicinenet.com\/images\/HealthDay\/healthday.png\" style=\"border: none;\"\/><br \/>Copyright \u00a9 2019 HealthDay.
