Says\u00a0Rumi, \u201cIt happened in November 2019. I\u2019m actually very bad with dates.\u00a0But\u00a0thanks to the mobile\u00a0phone I remember\u00a0it was November. Prior to that, Rhea Chakraborty had called to say\u00a0Sushant\u00a0was\u00a0in a depression. I didn\u2019t even know what it meant. But in November, I\u00a0\u00a0 visited\u00a0Sushant\u00a0. He met me with the same warmth as\u00a0he always did. He hugged me. He\u00a0then\u00a0told me that he\u00a0was\u00a0fighting off depression\u00a0and that he didn\u2019t know what to do about it. I was taken aback.\u00a0 \u2018Arrey\u00a0Sushant\u00a0,\u00a0tu\u00a0toh\u00a0star\u00a0hai. Depression\u00a0kyun?\u2019 I just couldn\u2019t understand what he\u00a0could be\u00a0depressed about.\u201d<\/p>\n

Rumi says he didn\u2019t probe about Sushant\u2019s condition. \u2018Ek toh who mujhse umar mein bahut chhota tha. Doosri baat , he was a star. We all know when to stop before crossing the line with them. But I kept a close watch on Sushant\u2019s health after he confided in me. He got admitted in Hinduja Hospital several times for depression. But the media was told he went in for various ailments like dengue, etc. But the fact is Sushant was being medically treated for clinical depression.\u201d<\/p>\n
