Actor Adil Hussain is set to star in the CBS series, Star Trek: Discovery<\/em>. The first trailer of the season 3 features the actor. “Proud to be a part of @StarTrek Discovery Season 3 releases on 15th October,” he wrote on Twitter on July 28, 2020.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe, the crew, of\u00a0Star Trek: Discovery<\/em>, in the finale, are deciding to sacrifice everything\u2014everything we have\u2014for the future, and so there\u2019s the obvious hope that that works,\u201d said Sonequa Martin-Green (Michael Burnham) during SDCC at Home panel last week. \u201cThat the plan works. And even, logistically, that we land where we\u2019re supposed to. That we defeat Control. That we save the world and save the universe, and so there\u2019s the inherent hope of that.\u201d<\/p>\n

The official synopsis reveals “the crew of the\u00a0U.S.S. Discovery<\/em>\u00a0they were going boldly into the future. More than\u00a0900 years<\/em>\u00a0into the future, a game-changing season-ending cliffhanger that will pay off in the upcoming third season of\u00a0Star Trek: Discovery<\/em>.”<\/p>\n

Sonequa Martin-Green (Commander Michael Burnham), Doug Jones (Commander Saru), David Ajala (Cleveland \u201cBook\u201d Booker), Michelle Yeoh (Philippa Georgiou).Anthony Rapp (Lt. Commander Paul Stamets), Mary Wiseman (Ensign Sylvia Tilly), and Wilson Cruz (Dr. Hugh Culber) will be returning to the show.<\/p>\n
