Ekta Kapoor withdraws herself from Pavitra Rishta Fund established in honour of Sushant Singh Rajput

Ekta Kapoor had recently collaborated with Tarun Katial for Pavitra Rishta Fun in order to spread Mental Health Awareness a month after Sushant Singh Rajput’s demise. The producer had given Sushant Singh Rajput his big break on television with Kis Desh Mein Hai Mera Dil and later on with Pavitra Rishta. After the Supreme Court announced that the Central Bureau of Investigation will take over Sushant Singh Rajput’s death case, Ekta Kapoor took to her social media to announce that she will no longer be associated with the Pavitra Rishta Fund.

Even though Ekta did not start this campaign, she has decided to take a step back until the investigation falls through. She posted a note informing the same with the caption, “Even though this is not a fund started by me, but started by Zee and is a needed one at that, I am always with Zee for any other mental awareness fund that they want to do, but on this one I would like to respectfully disassociate myself. #SSR Hope the truth prevails ????????”.

Ekta Kapoor received a lot of backlash on social media after the Supreme Court’s judgement regarding the CBI probe.
