Kolkata hospital unveils statue to honor doctors | Kolkata News

KOLKATA: Woodlands Hospital came together (maintaining all safety norms) to honour and salute the doctors on the occasion of Doctors Day on Wednesday.
The hospital unveiled a statue in honour of all the doctors who are tirelessly putting their efforts to keep the society healthy especially during this global Covid-19 pandemic.
The event covered unveiling of 3D statue by the senior consultants and doctors of Woodlands Hospital.
“The doctors have shown exemplary display of courage, dedication and commitment to save the human life from this global crisis and nothing more can be apt other than to express with a fond salute to all the doctors on this day,” said Dr Rupali Basu, Director and CEO of Woodlands Multispeciality Hospital.
Among those who attended the function were Dr Malati Purkait – COO, Woodlands Hospital, and senior consultants Dr Pallab Gangopadhyay, Dr Sudipta Ghosh, Consultant Dr Nirupama Paul, Dr Soumitra Bhattacharya Dr Soumitra Ray and Dr Rupali Basu – Director & CEO, Woodlands Hospital.
