KOLKATA: All judicial and administrative work at Calcutta high court will remain suspended from Friday till Monday (both days inclusive) due to the lockdown announced in containment zones in Kolkata.
According to Rai Chattopadhyay, registrar general, Calcutta High Court, the Chief Justice has declared certain parts of the court as containment zones. During the period when work will be suspended, thorough sanitisation of all three buildings of will be carried out. Several lawyers had expressed their inability to attend hearings when restrictions have been imposed on movement from certain parts of city and districts.
