A fever clinic isolation room, a gym that has room for 500 people to train and a 45,000 cover dining room – just some of the features of the Tokyo Olympics athlete’s village.

The home for thousands of athletes has presented a unique challenge to organisers, who strict safety measures will combat the risk of infection.

The BBC’s Rupert Wingfield-Hayes took a look inside the grounds to see how Covid guidelines are being implemented.
