Mahindra Lifespace mulls to buy land parcels with sales potential of Rs2,000cr in FY21; stock dips 2%

Mahindra Lifespace Developers was trading in red on Sensex. The stock has plunged by over 2.3%, trading at Rs202.65 per piece on Sensex at around 12.27 pm. The realty firm is reportedly seen to acquire land parcels which have sales potential of Rs2,000cr this financial year FY21.

A top company official told PTI, Mahindra Lifespace is actively looking at acquiring four to seven land parcels this fiscal with sales potential of Rs2,000cr as land deals have become more attractive.

Also, Arvind Subramanian, MD and CEO-designate, Mahindra Lifespaces told PTI that, the company is also in talks with investment firms to set up a dedicated platform for the development of mid-income housing projects.

Subramanian reportedly added that Mahindra Lifespace is evaluating the possibility of integrating the co-living segment in its future projects.

On Monday, the stock has clocked an intraday high and low of Rs209.90 per piece and Rs198.15 per piece respectively.

In the previous closing, the stock stood at Rs207.45 per piece on Sensex.
